In the early 60s the Peacock Bass was seeded into the Gatun Lake in the Panama Canal. Today, its population is abundant. For this reason, great fishing is guaranteed. Besides the Sargento, its local name, other fresh water fish like snook or carps may also be fished.
You will leave Panama at 6:00 a.m. and head to the town of Gamboa to board your boat. For better fishing chances, your captain will take you to the lakes coves where you will be able to admire the rainforest and wildlife from your boat. Return around 1:00 p.m.
